Rottnest Island Sunset Bayseeker Tour

It is believed that Rottnest Island separated from the mainland 7,000 years ago and is now the largest of a chain of islands off the coast of Perth. The stunning, pristine environment includes 63 secluded beaches, 20 bays, crystal clear water, fascinating history, the world-famous ‘smiling’ quokka and more.

From cerulean ocean blues to golden hour glows and fiery sunsets, the colours of Rottnest can be fully appreciated on our Sunset Bayseeker Tour. Upgrade your ferry ticket to include this fantastic 1 hour 45-minute guided tour around the island on an air-conditioned coach.

The Sunset Bayseeker Tour takes you through the middle of the island, passing Wadjemup Lighthouse at dusk, then onto the West End to walk Cape Vlamingh and Cathedral Rocks and see the NZ long-nose fur seals. Choose a spot for sunset and feel free to bring a picnic!

Return departure from the West End is five minutes after the sun has set, and the driver will give an exact time each day. After sunset, return via the same route to the Main Bus Stop, with an option for drop-off at Geordie Bay (on request).
